Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can i use this for non-poe devices like computers?
A: That is OK, This switch supports the standard IEEE802.3AF/AT protocol, and can automatically detect the device. When connected to a computer, it will not supply power to it and will provide a data connection.
Q: Does it include the power supply?
A: Yes,It is include one AC adapter.
Q: Can I use supplies of differing voltage as the redundant power ? For example, 12v and 24v without unwanted effects or damage?
A: Yes, you can use supplies of differing voltages. There will be no ill effects, the switch's internal regulators were designed to handle a wide range of voltage inputs.
Q: What temperature range can this device handle?
A: The operating temperature is -40~85?(-40~185°F)
Q: Does it come with a small din rail?
A: The switch support 35mm din rail ,but the din rail is not included.
Q: Does this have any management capability?
A: No,This is a unmanaged industrial ethernet switch.
Q: Why not provide PoE? What is the input DC supply voltage?
A: Please check you r device whether support IEEE802.3AF/AT. If you directly connect the DC power input and need to use POE, please use the 48-57V DC power input, not 12v, because the IEEE802.3AF/AT standard output POE voltage is 48-52V.
