When you first time set up, MMDVM hotspot will generete pi-star set up hotspot, which you'll connect with, and goes into pi-star and then visit 192.168.50.1 for configuration.

MMDVM Hotspot is a Multi-mode Hotspot, supports C4FM YSF NXDN DSTAR P25 DMR

If you connected to your home network/wifi, it will remember your home wifi. When open pi-star and update your configure, there will be no pi-star wifi.

If you came across this situation, here're two methods to log in and update you configure:

A, Visit [pi-star] on your browser, log in pi-star and configure. If you're on macOS, iOS or Windows 10 tablet, please visit [pi-star.local].

B, Find your Device IP on your home network routers, and log in with that IP, and update your configure.

Unable to get 'wifi' pi-star to appear to login to device.

This device is directly connected to the computer, so it will not be displayed whether the WiFi is logged in or not.

How to display the IP address on the OLED, is it a setting in pi-star to turn it on?

Just Enable DSTAR mode, you can see the IP on OLED now.

When log on to the pi-star wifi it says the default password is incorrect. what would it be other than raspberry?

Password only this password “raspberry”, please brush the system to try again.

The state of the lights at work. Make noise when plugged in. OLED display went out within hours.

When Red Light flashing behind case, it's works. Please configure Wi-Fi or call sign, Mode, just to see pi-star panel to see what happen.You can download live log file to see what happen, OLED don't work if don't select gpio modem, start with manual.

I updated and lost factory settings. What modem type do I select? Try to configure for YSF but have no network activity

OLED 3. The modem is GPIO, after configuring the modem will the network be available.

How to connect between the Jumbo hotspot and the ZyXel C1100Z modem /router?

Obtain the WiFi account number of your router (phone's hotspot function, when activate hotspot, change the pass/SSID in Settings). Then use the WiFi builder web page to generate the file and save it to card, or connect it directly via a network cable

Heard a rattling in the case. Sounds like a small screw bouncing around in there.

The screws inside the equipment may have become loose. In case of any looseness, remove and reinstall the screw. Reassess functionality after reinstallation to determine if the product can be used again.
