Wendi Levy I have tightly curled hair on one side of the family tree and straight, limp hair on the other. Growing up on the east coast, there were black neighborhoods, white neighborhoods, a Puerto Rican neighborhood… everything was segregated. Wendi Levy (left) and Kim Etheredge (right), two “mixed chicks”, created a product line because they needed it. Then, something happened…friends and family started encouraging them to package it, and soon they had a full blown business running out of the garage.
