Multi-Purpose Pair of Cleaning Combs
The set of two pet grooming combs from Meric are two different sizes and useful for a variety of purposes. Both combs are very effective at keeping your pet's fur clean. Using these combs helps you quickly and easily detect the tiny gnats. When you brush through your pet's coat, the comb picks up the intruder in its stainless steel teeth. They are so gentle that the combs can be used as a tool for face grooming sessions. The pet grooming comb will remove crust from around your dog's eyes, helping reduce the chance of unsightly tear stains.
Perfect for Short and Long Haired Pets
From long-haired small breeds to short-haired large breeds, the Meric Pet Grooming Combs work on all types of furry pets. They are suitable to comb through both wet and dry fur coats. The tear stain combs brush Maltese, Shih Tzu and Bearded Collie fur just as easily as they do Pug, Beagle and Boxer fur. Cat breeds from American Shorthair and Siamese to Persians and Maine Coons can also be combed with these amazing grooming tools.
Helpful Hints Using the Comb Set
- To restrict a buildup of crust around your pet's eyes, it is recommended to use the tear stain comb every couple of days.
- Before using the tool, remove any large tangles or snarls that could damage the teeth of the comb.
- For cleaning skin, pay particular attention to areas around the ears, nape of neck and base of tail. Between strokes, dip the comb into a cup of mild detergent to clean off any leftovers picked up in the teeth.
- For face grooming, start at the bridge of your pet's nose and angle to the side you want to comb. If it snags, hold the hair near the roots to alleviate the pulling and gently wiggle the comb through the hair. Remove & repeat as needed.
- Clean and disinfect the grooming combs on a regular basis.
