Melt and pour goat milk soap base is a type of soap that can be melted at medium heat in a suitable container, using direct heat, or in a water jacket melting pot. It will resolidify after one hour of cooling at room temperature. A microwave oven can also be used to melt the base. Additives can be added before the soap solidifies, such as fragrance, fragrant essential oils, moisturizing agents, colorants, or exfoliating agents. This two pound pack is convenient and easy to cut and melt. The molten soap can be poured into individual molds, tray molds, or blocks made of silicone or plastic or polyurethane rubber. Artisans can make their own molds using our two-part molding kit. Upon cooling, the soap can be removed from the molds as individual soaps, or as blocks for slicing into bars. Layers of different colors can also be built up, or cut into soap shapes. In a small scale process, a single soap bar can be individually manufactured and shipped if desired. Unlike common soap made with the cold or hot process which needs aging for several weeks or months before it can be shipped to customers, melt and pour soap bars can be shipped without ageing after making. Always store your finished product away from the heat or freezing temperatures in a dry environment. Do not heat for a long time or allow to boil while melting, otherwise excessive sweating might occur after the soap bar is made. The final product must be kept shrink-wrapped. Melt and pour soap is ideal for adding your own favorite scent, making it as gifts for other people. Melt and pour soap base provides extra moisturizing benefits. Note: do not expose the soap to freezing temperature since the soap might become soft. To remedy, melt the soap again and it will return to normal hardness. Always store and transport at room temperature.
