Medline Bordered Gauze Adhesive Island Wound Dressings

These advanced, easy-to-use adhesive dressings can be used as primary or secondary wound dressings to cover and protect the wound site while absorbing drainage.

Recommended uses

3 Functional Layers for Better Performance


Non-adherent center contact layer protects the wound site and will not stick to the wound and granulating tissue	Soft pad absorbs drainage & exudate and cushions the wound site to promote comfort & healing	Nonwoven backing features an adhesive border to securely hold the dressing in place

Application:


1. Remove Bordered Gauze from the package.	2. Remove one side of the paper liner. Place dressing over the wound and surrounding skin.	3. Remove remaining liner. Smooth dressing over skin and wound.

Deluxe soaker pad with non-woven adhesive border. Water resistant backing ideal for incision sites, pressure ulcers, and partial and full-thickness wounds. Contraindicated for third-degree burns and patients with a known sensitivity to components of dressing.

Easy-to-use sterile adhesive island wound dressing measures 4" x 4" with 2" x 2" pad. Layer 3 is a water-resistant nonwoven backing with an adhesive border to securely hold the dressing in place. Layer 2 is a soft pad that absorbs drainage and cushions. Layer 1 is a nonadherent contact layer that protects the wound site and will not stick to granulating tissue. Composite island dressings have four distinct layers for versatile use, including as a primary or secondary dressing.
