Could I guess my size based off my trouser size?

It's not recommended to guess your size and especially not from your trouser size. Place any measuring tape around your body and measure where your navel is. If you border a size, we recommend you select the bigger size.

Do I have to use the lumbar pad for this MEDiBrace to function properly?

Absolutely not. You can attach or detach the lumbar pad as you wish, you will benefit from excellent lower back support with or without it. We're all unique and whilst many will benefit tremendously from utilising it, it's not for everyone.

Will this lumbar pad attach to the other MEDiBrace models?

Unfortunately not. There is a special fabric on the inside of the Plus brace model that will receive the hook and loop fabric on the lumbar pad. The same fabric is not used on the original MEDiBrace models.

Would this product still be of benefit to me if I don't experience any back pain?

The MEDiBrace is used by people who golf, or work out at the gym, or whose job it is to lift heavy objects such as glass panes or boxes. Most of them do not have back pain, but it helps to reduce strain and prevent back problems.

I have a pacemaker and I'm worried about any magnets or metal in this product?

There are no magnets or metal of any kind in the MEDiBrace Plus or the lumbar pad. You can wear it for an MRI scan or going through Airport Security. The Plus uses ultra-strong, flexible plastic rods as stays.
