The MedSpec Boxer Splint provides superior comfort and support for fractures of the 4th and 5th metacarpals. This product contains two adjustable aluminum stays on the top and bottom (dorsal and palmar) act as an internal clamshell to keep the correct alignment necessary for proper healing. The MedSpec Boxer Splint has a felt liner for enhanced comfort and wicks moisture away from your skin. The closure straps around the wrist and the fingers stretch for better comfort and easier fitting. The patented V strap across the hand is designed to not slide out of the D ring on the dorsal top side of the Boxer Splint. This model is sized according to your wrist circumference and is specifically designed to be worn on either the right or the left side. This is a popular design readily used by hand specialists for the treatment of non-displaced 4th and 5th metacarpal fractures.
