Masterclip heavy duty horse clipping blades

These blades come with a cutting depth of 1mm and 3mm. The 1mm blade produces a fine cut finish and the 3mm produces a medium cut finish.

Suitable for all coat types

Lay the blade flat against the body rather than at an angle. You will need very little pressure and let the clipper do the work rather than pushing it through the coat.

Heavy Duty "Heiniger Style" Horse Clipping Blades

Available in two cutting depths

Considered to be a more traditional style of clipping blade, Masterclip Heiniger style blades come as a two-part set comprising of a larger back comb and smaller cutter.

The medium blade is a great blade to use for all over body clipping and full clipping to include the legs. The fine blade suits all horse and ponies - but is particularly suited to those undertaking more strenuous activity and are well rugged through the winter.

Oil your blades regularly for greater longevity
Designed to fit clippers with the Heiniger style clipping head
Fits the Masterclip Ranger, Hunter and HD Roamer on models pre 2018
N/B. These blades will not fit clippers with A2 heads

FINE 1mm The fine blade cuts to 1mm and is best suited for horse and ponies in heavy work such as hunting, and in equestrian sports such as higher level showjumping and eventing.	MEDIUM 3mm The medium blade will leave more hair on the horse which will provide greater protection against the weather and the environment. These blades will leave a velvety smooth finish and are well matched to a variety of coat types from thoroughbreds to natives.	BLADE CARE These blades need to be kept sharp to generate less friction and heat. Blades need oiling with clipper spray or clipper oil every 3-5 mins whilst clipping.	EASY TO FIT These are designed to fit on the Heiniger style head and are secured using two blade retaining screws and tightened with a screwdriver.
