Well, let me tell you why.

• Comes in a convenient solid stick form. Which means it's great for taking around with you, without the risk or worries about causing a mess by spillage.
• The soft, silky texture and the matte finish makes it great for a pseudo-primer. It isn't squeezed out and applied like some other types of sunscreen, but this stick still goes on quite nicely. The light and carefully made formulation make it go on great, too!
• It boasts a very good SPF 50+ PA++++ rating. There isn't necessarily wrong with a lower strength sunblock, so long as you use it properly, but why settle for less when you can get moreAnd quality stuff, at that!

However, the proper usage of sunscreen requires application once every 2 hours at a minimum, or more frequently if you are under some pretty strong sun exposure. Still, this product is designed to do just that, and keep your skin nice and moisturized at the same time.

One of the main concerns with Sun Protection products these days include the fear of potential long-term risks that certain ingredients might have if they are absorbed through the skin, such as in the case of chemical (nano)-based sun protection products. While the general science supports the notion that the effect of UV protection outweighs any potential risks of using such products, regardless of the type of blocker used, those who want to take an extra step towards a safer option might be interested to know that this Sun Stick uses non-nano (physical, mineral) blockers only. Physical blockers generally work by reflecting UV rays from the skin, and the blocker themselves are generally too big to be easily absorbed by the skin.

Usage Tips

Nothing Special Really But....

Just a few things to keep in mind if you want to have an easier time with make p:rem's UV defense me. Calming sun stick:

Make sure you start working from the inside of your face outwards.

WhyWell, working from the outside inwards means the stick won't be able to 'finish' the application neatly. If you can manage it though, n thing wrong with that!

Don't 'reveal' or push up more than about 0.2 inches of the product at any time.

WhyA bad angle, too much pressure, or just bad luck might cause the product to break apart. And that would just not be cool. At all.
