make p:rem's UV defense me. Calming sun cream with Calamine is a part of their 'UV defense me.' line of products, all of which are designed to help provide effective protection against UV rays! This specific cream is one of the newest additions as of 2021, and the only one (at the time of this writing) to feature a 'tone-up' element designed to add in a very slight color element to your UV protection routine!

There are a few features you might be interested in:

• This one is a physical (non-nano) sunscreen. The ingredients in this cream are designed to reflect the UV rays, and are large enough in size to avoid being absorbed by the skin.

Physical (Non-Nano) UV Protection

Minimal Risk of Absorption

One of the main concerns with Sun Protection products these days include the fear of potential long-term risks that certain ingredients might have if they are absorbed through the skin, such as in the case of chemical (nano)-based sun protection products. While the general science supports the notion that the effect of UV protection outweighs any potential risks of using such products, regardless of the type of blocker used, those who want to take an extra step towards a safer option might be interested to know that this Sun Cream uses non-nano (physical, mineral) blockers only. Physical blockers generally work by reflecting UV rays from the skin, and the blocker themselves are generally too big to be easily absorbed by the skin.

If there is any potential downside to this, it's the fact that a physical layer of blocker may also bring about a slight level of white cast on the skin. The calamine content in this particular product makes that white cast more of a slight pink tone, and is done so in an intentional way.
