Lyonsleaf Beauty Balm - A one pot wonder!

Lyonsleaf Beauty Balm can be used to cleanse, remove make-up (including waterproof mascara), moisturise, prime, and even exfoliate. It's a completely natural product containing no artificial chemicals at all and is available fragranced with essential oils, or unfragranced to suit extremely sensitive skin.

Oil Cleansing Method

The oil cleansing method (known as hot cloth cleansing) is a revolutionary way to cleanse and remove make-up without stripping the skins natural oils (as soap and traditional cleansers do). Pure plant oils replace dirty sebum with clean fresh nourishing fatty acids bolstering skin barrier instead of damaging it. Oil cleansing daily also removes dead skin cells so harsh weekly exfoliation becomes unecessary.

Moisturising and priming.

Use to moisturise after oil cleansing (if necessary). It can be used under foundation or mineral sunscreen to lubricate the skin and achieve an even tone.

Lyonsleaf Beauty Balm formula is 95% organic tropical oils. These oils are rich in antioxidants and will not oxidise in sunlight in the way that oils that come from temperate regions do. Oxidisation is a train of destruction caused by free radicals (rust is the oxidisation of metal) Antioxidants (like vitamins A C E) halt the chain reaction, so these oils actually prevent photo damage.

Nighttime skincare

Temperate oils like rosehip and borage contain fatty acids are essential for your skins proper function but that oxidise in sunlight. Our Marshmallow Facial Oils are rich in these oils that grow in colder climates. Using our Facial Oil at night and Beauty Balm in the day, gives you a broad spectrum of fatty acids without the damaging free radicals. Marshmallow root is amazing for softening the skin too.
