Q: If I have two Phone, which one will it be automatically connected to?

A: The dongle can be paired with multiple phones, but only one device can be connected at a time. Please note, by Bluetooth function default, the dongle's system will only auto-connect back to the last used phone. For the connection of the first phone, you need to disconnect the phone that the adapter was last connected to. Re-establishing the connection of the first phone.

Q: Why does the adapter Unable to automatically reconnect after the first pairing?

Plan A: In some cars, ""Auto Connect"" must be selected in the car's stereo settings in order to use the dongle's Auto-Connect function.

Plan B: Check the phone settings:

Q: My phone asks for a WiFi password when I try to connect to the dongle. What is the password?

A: The wireless Android Auto is paired by Bluetooth, not WiFi. No password is required to connect to Bluetooth. Make sure your phone's WiFi is turned on and unoccupied when pairing. The WiFi password is only required for the firmware upgrade.

Q: Why the adapter doesn't work after a while?

Plan A: You may need some updates to get it back on track.

1) Open your phone Settings > System > Advanced > System, check the Android version and install any available updates.

2) Open the Google Play shop and check that the Android Auto app is the latest version.

3) You should update other core system apps such as Google and Google play services if they have updates. Doing so will fix issues such as Google voice commands not working.

4) Finally, after all updates are complete, open the Android Auto app on your phone. You may need to accept a user agreement update before you can use it. If the app is waiting for your approval, this is one of the reasons why Android Auto stops working after a major update.

If the Android Auto app is the latest version, first turn off Bluetooth on your phone, then open your phone's app manager to search for Android Auto and clear the app cache, and finally restart the adapter and reconnect Bluetooth.
