This is a low but not a decaffeinated coffee. SELECTION The selection and buying of the coffee is handled personally by Gian Luca Venturelli. Gian Luca personally tastes all the samples that arrive at the company, he often travels abroad to visit the plantations and producers. Great pride is taken in the blends for espresso pods. TRANSPORT We take care of every phase of the transport of the raw material to our factories. Some varieties are transported in small wooden barrels to better preserve the unmistakable aroma. MIXING The individual varieties of coffee, whether mild, strong coffee or decaf ground coffee, are mixed in very specific proportions. Coffee bags strong and bold pods are included in the range. ROASTING The processing of our coffees is that of the artisan practice: a gentle roasting that caresses the coffee. We obtain a very high quality and highly healthy product: essential oils and aromas are protected and the beans are well developed, strong and fragrant, with little residual moisture and a limited caffeine content.GRINDING Grinding is a delicate and important phase for the final result. We grind the coffee for our coffe pods in the best possible way, in the absence of oxygen and at low temperatures. PACKAGING To preserve the aromas for a long time, the packaging for the coffee bags or capsules takes place in a protective atmosphere with the introduction of nitrogen to eliminate oxygen and counteract the effects of oxidation. We make totally compostable coffee pods which are eco-friendly.
