Loving Foods Sauerkraut and Kimchi is naturally fermented using unprocessed Celtic Sea Salt and nothing else but love and time. During this process, the nutrients and natural bacteria present in the vegetables are multiplied, and other compounds that were not present before, are produced. The final product is packed full of beneficial bacteria, enzymes, vitamins and minerals that help to promote good digestion and a healthy gut, leading to an improvement in general health. They are not only healthy, but also delicious, and work great as part of a salad, or as a condiment alongside your meals to add flavour, colour and texture. Important note: It is normal for our jars to occasionally leak during transit due to the ongoing fermentation of the product, pressure build up in the jar and release of CO2. We do our best to send our cultured vegetables in protective packaging to try to contain the juice, but don't worry if one or two leak a bit. This doesn't affect the product in any way and you can always top up the jars with mineral water and a good quality salt if you wish. This ongoing activity is perfectly normal for a living probiotic food and is a great sign that the product is raw, unpasteurised and alive.
