Set user-space or device-tree based temperature or event triggers for complete fan control from off to maximum RPM. Fan speed tach also provides stall detection, spin-up control, and ramp rate control with 1% accuracy from 500-16K RPM. To enable, add dtoverlay=i2c-fan,emc2301 to /boot/config.txt file. FULLY ISOLATED: The professional model features an isolation transformer for IEEE 802.3af/at compliance and generalized DC PoE compatibility in most environments. This greatly reduces the risk of electrical loops and allows the Raspberry Pi to be directly grounded through USB, HDMI, or GPIO header making it suitable for commercial applications in non-controlled environments.
