Put the fitting material on the back of the tooth and place the tooth in very hot water. Water needs to be above 130F to soften and become pliable for the fitting material. The water in the faucet is not hot enough, you need to heat it in the microwave or on the stovetop. If the water is hot enough, the fitting material should be soft and pliable after 2 minutes. If the material is not soft after 2 minutes, you will need to try again with hot water. Fit the teeth in place. Once the fit material is soft and pliable, gently press the tooth against the front of the existing tooth. Hold the tooth firmly in place, then use your thumb to press the excess fitting material up and around the back of the natural tooth. Gently remove tooth after 30 seconds and set aside to cool. Let the accessory material cool before trying it on. Once the fitting material has cooled and hardened, you can put the tooth back in your mouth. When properly installed, they should pop into place. If you are not satisfied with the fit, you can reheat and modify as many times as necessary until you get a secure fit. The teeth stay in place because the fit material has already left an imprint on your existing teeth, as shown in the photo above.
