The LimbO was first launched in early 1994. Initially a basic range of adult arm and leg models were introduced. The range quickly expanded to include child models and a broader range of sizes.

In early 2006 several LimbO below knee and PICC line models were approved by the NHS and became available on FP10 prescription.
Products

Snug fitting stretchy Lycra cover that prevents clothes snagging on your cast and protects other limbs and bed linen from abrasions whilst you sleep. How To Use: Carefully pull the cast sleeve over the cast until the cast is covered. Care in use: Can be machined washed at 40 degrees with standard washing detergents. No bleach. Can be tumble dried.

Comes in three different sizes. Protects casts from everyday dirt and grime easily washable. Aids dressing, by allowing clothes to gently slide over cast or dressing to avoid snagging. Specially designed to protect clothing and bedsheets rough abrasive casts. Measurements: Circumference of cast around toes 24 - 26cm Circumference of cast around top of cast (just below knee) 43 – 48cm Length from top of cast, down back of cast, under heel finishing at toes Up to 70cm.
