Bioactive 5-MTHF Folate
Our One-Per-Day formula now contains 400 mcg of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF), a form of folate that may be up to seven times more bioavailable than folic acid. This form of folate requires no conversion to become metabolically active, which is important as research shows that many people lack the robust activity of the enzyme that’s necessary to convert folic acid to 5-MTHF.8
Mixed vitamin E tocopherols
Most commercial multivitamins provide only the alpha-tocopherol form of vitamin E, but there are four tocopherols. One-Per-Day provides all four. For biomarkers of oxidative stress, evidence shows that combining alpha- and gamma-tocopherols is better than taking either nutrient alone. High-potency minerals, antioxidants and extracts
