Leucidal SF Complete has been developed to conveniently offer full protection of your DIY lotions, creams, and serums with efficacy against bacteria, yeast and mold all in one product. This mixture can provide moisturizing and conditioning benefits in hair and skin care applications. Leucidal SF Complete is effective at preventing the growth of bacteria and fungi, including yeast and mold, making it the perfect addition to any formulation.

Leucidal SF Complete is a probiotic-based preservative ingredient created by the fermentation of Lactobacillus and Cocos nucifera. Lactobacillus is one of the microorganisms used to produce fermented products such as sauerkraut and kimchi, a Korean dietary staple, from cabbage. Like many members of the lactic acid bacteria family, Lactobacillus is capable of restricting the growth of other microorganisms by acidifying its environment and producing novel antimicrobial peptides. These peptides, known as bacteriocins, are capable of providing antimicrobial protection. Cocos nucifera oil (coconut oil) has been traditionally used to treat skin disorders, yeast infections, ringworm, and even athlete's foot due to its natural antifungal activity. It works by disrupting and destroying their cellular structures. During the fermentation process, natural phytocompounds and lipopeptides from coconut are harnessed to produce this novel antifungal material.

Leucidal SF Complete is approved by ECOCERT and may be used in certified organic cosmetics.

Example Recipe: Retinol Serum with Hyaluronic Acid (Basic Recipe)

1/4 tsp Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid Powder)
30-60 drops Leucidal SF Complete broad-spectrum preservative
1 oz Hydrosol and/or distilled water
9-90 drops Retinol Liposome Cosmetic Additive (Depending on desired strength)

Example Recipe: 10% Vitamin C Serum with Hyaluronic Acid

1/4 tsp Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid Powder)
30-60 drops Leucidal SF Complete broad-spectrum preservative
1 oz Hydrosol and/or distilled water
1 1/2 tsp L-ascorbic acid powder (Vitamin C)

Leucidal SF Complete only mixes with water-based ingredients (not oil), unless you use an emulsifier to blend oil and water ingredients.
