A gentle but effective premium shampoo, Leonor Greyl Paris Bain Traitant à La Propolis uses natural ingredients to relieve scalp irritation and prevent dandruff. When gently massaged into the scalp, this dandruff shampoo produces a delicate lather to moisturize hair. The signature ingredient, bee propolis, has cleansing properties to help prevent further scalp conditions. TIP: For best results apply Huile Apaisante, an oil blend for sensitive, irritated scalps. Free from SLS/SLES, silicone, parabens and coal-tar; Safe for color-treated hair and Cruelty free.

The idea of including propolis in a shampoo came to Jean-Marie Greyl after a family trip to Egypt, where he learned that ancient Egyptians used this resin-like bee byproduct to preserve mummies because of its remarkable cleansing properties. After 10 years of research, he introduced Bain Traitant à la Propolis to the market in 1994 as the first gentle dandruff treatment shampoo of its kind for everyday use.


Directions for Use Wet hair thoroughly. Emulsify a small amount of Bain Traitant à la Propolis dandruff treatment shampoo between your palms. Apply to the scalp and massage, adding small amounts of water progressively as a gentle lather builds. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat. The first wash cleanses while the second application treats. Massage into the scalp and leave on for 3 minutes.
