How we got our start

Lavolio started with the idea of making a box of chocolate more exciting. I used to work in banking when the financial crisis happened, and I decided that I was going to pursue my passion for food, which I've always had since growing up in Italy.

In this delightful confectionery mix you can experience almonds, pistachios and hazelnuts layered with different types of chocolate: creamy white chocolate, 77% dark chocolate and gianduia chocolate. The Best of Made in Italy

We start by making the 'heart' of the sweet by toasting nuts, candying real pieces of fruit or by hand pouring our apple-based jelly into moulds.

Each Lavolio takes 5 days to make

Then we add our delicious chocolate or the finest spices one layer at a time.

Our sweets are spun in copper barrels

Finally, all of our sweets are delicately spun to form the crunchy sugar shell that naturally preserves their loveliness.

Nutty Forest Collection Flavours

Dark Chocolate & Hazelnut - pink or green and globe shaped - A toasted hazelnut encased within a sumptuous double layer of white and dark chocolate. Pistachio Vaniglia - small yellow pieces - Earthy pistachio combined with the warmth of natural vanilla. Almond Amaretto - white, shiny and egg shaped - Like a little Italian dessert with a smooth amaretto white chocolate cuddling a crunchy almond centre.

Nutty Forest Collection Flavours

Soft Pebbles - the clue is in the name - Tangy orange zest and smooth marzipan wrapped in specially made shells, inspired by the pebbly shores of eastern Italy. Dark Chocolate & Almond - pink or green and egg shaped - A crunchy almond accentuated by a double layer of dark and white chocolate. Hazelnut Gianduia - white, shiny and egg shaped - Chocolate and hazelnut *such a classic pairing* wrapped around an almond in our signature spun sugar shell. Simply unbeatable.

How did you come up with the idea for this product

Everything started with my passion for sweets. The dream is to make better quality confectionery with proper ingredients, and to create a beautiful taste experience for those who dare to explore our creations. We aim to WOW with our unusual flavours and luxury presentation: Lavolios are beautifully presented in specially designed metal boxes, which you will definitely want to keep.

What makes your product special

Lavolio is the perfect gift for anyone with a sweet tooth. All our products are artisan made, gluten-free and delicious. You can actually see that each individual sweet piece is one-of-a-kind! We are the next exciting thing after chocolate and we believe in creating the perfect indulgent treat which not only is beautifully designed but brings you a new, more memorable taste experience.
