PROPER FIT CHECKLIST: After donning, check the following in standing: Shoulder subluxation is reduced, Shoulder in neutral rotation, 4-Tab optimally positioned and locked, Axillary pad in a comfortable position, Elbow in less than 30 degrees of flexion, Elbow strap positioned 1" below elbow and horizontal, Wrist cross centered over wrist, Hand piece position accommodates contour of hand, Blue Stripe against body. TO INSURE PROPER FITTING OF THE GIVMOHR SLING, initial fitting should be done by a Physical or Occupational Therapist (PT or OT).
