L'Erbolario was founded in Lodi in 1978, in a small shop that specialized in creating plant-derived cosmetics, however, it was actually founded prior to this, in the imagination of its two founders: Franco Bergamaschi and his wife Daniela Villa, biologist and cosmetologist. From the meticulous work of reconstructing their sources - old hygiene and beauty manuals, family recipe books and ancient handbooks from antique book stores - their knowledge developed, and grew, and continued to develop throughout almost 40 years of work.

More than just magnetic colours. The gallic Rose hides little details, like the wrinkled movement of its petals, which are poetry to the eyes. In the same way this All-Purpose Body Oil surprises the senses in numerous ways. In contact with droplets of water its oily texture turns into a delicate super smoothing emulsion.
