Our History

L'Erbolario was founded in Lodi in 1978, in a small shop that specialized in creating plant-derived cosmetics, however, it was actually founded prior to this, in the imagination of its two founders: Franco Bergamaschi and his wife Daniela Villa, biologist and cosmetologist. From the meticulous work of reconstructing their sources - old hygiene and beauty manuals, family recipe books and ancient handbooks from antique book stores - their knowledge developed, and grew, and continued to develop throughout almost 40 years of work.

L'Erbolario Personal Hygiene Cleanser respects the physiological acidity of your intimate areas and provides a very gentle cleansing action. This very fine cleanser contains active principles of island moss that ensure a refreshing and deodorizing action, while Ribwort provides an emollient and softening action with every use.

ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY: All our products are organic, cruelty free, and good for mankind and the environment. We believe in natural beauty and won't settle for anything less than certified quality. WE AIM TO MINIMIZE ALLERGIES: We monitor the content of seven heavy metals (including nickel, chromium, cadmium, lead and mercury) on each batch of every product to minimize allergies.
