Our History

L'Erbolario was founded in Lodi in 1978, in a small shop that specialized in creating plant-derived cosmetics, however, it was actually founded prior to this, in the imagination of its two founders: Franco Bergamaschi and his wife Daniela Villa, biologist and cosmetologist. From the meticulous work of reconstructing their sources - old hygiene and beauty manuals, family recipe books and ancient handbooks from antique book stores - their knowledge developed, and grew, and continued to develop throughout almost 40 years of work.

This face cream should be used for treatment on oily and blemished skin. When used consistently every night, it is capable of effectively, yet very gently, preventing breakouts, while moisturizing and toning the skin. It is enriched with hawthorn and pumpkin seeds to rejuvenate the delicate under eye area. This soft and light emulsion is easily-absorbed without leaving greasy traces. While the skin rests, the normalizing and skin-purifying substances of which this emulsion is rich act deeply, also helping to hydrate and properly nourish the epidermis.
