Die geschnittenen Weinblätter enthalten bis zu 7 Flavonoide mit glykosidisch gebundenen Quercetin und Isoquercetin. Weitere Inhaltsstoffe der Weinblätter sind Kämpferol und Rutin. Als Räucherkraut wird Weinlaub zusammen mit Weihrauchharz und Copal geräuchert. Das Weinlaub wurde besonders im Mittelmeerraum als Abendräucherung verwendet um schönen Träumen den Weg zu bahnen und böse Einflüsse zu vertreiben. Die Weinblätter stammen aus kontrolliertem Anbau und sind frei von Schadstoffen. Die Weinblätter sind mindestens 24 Monate haltbar.
