We don't use preservatives, so this product may naturally clump (especially in colder climates)! Here are some ways to make it smooth:

• Use a handheld frother
• For hot drinks: Break up with a spoon before adding. Let sit for 1-2 min, then vigorously stir.
• For cold drinks: Mix with hot water and stir. Then, combine with other ingredients.
