Es ist auch wichtig anzumerken, dass das Chlordioxid tatsächlich der gleiche Stoff ist, der beim Bleichen von Mehl und Reinigen von Wasser verwendet wird, und dass die Pulpe in mehreren Zyklen nach dem Bleichen gründlich gewaschen wird, um alle Spuren von Bleichmittel zu entfernen.
