How did we get our start

The journey begins with family.

Kindred Essence began when Jennifer decided to channel her passion for scented candles into making her own. Testing different fragrance combinations until she came up with ones she loved, she started making container candles in her kitchen, gifting them to family and friends, and earning great compliments.

With their positive feedback, Jen spoke with her sister Sandra and they decided to team up and go into business together. Now, they create a variety of handmade candles; organic soaps, and body butters, bringing their magic to life!

Why do we love what we do

As two girls from the islands, our upbringing was intertwined with the delightful world of coconuts. We relished the tender, snowy-white flesh, and sweet, invigorating coconut milk. Little did we envision as kids that our love for this extraordinary fruit would one day inspire us to create a line of products that harnesses the benefits of its oil.
