Edge2's hardware supports up to four independent displays, however in practice the number of independent displays will be limited by the OS.

*The DSI interfaces are only accessible in the Edge2 Maker Kit.

Extreme GPU Performance

The RK3588S has an integrated 4-core GPU, the ARM Mali-G610 MP4 (up to 1GHz clock speed) which supports a lag-free 4K user interface. 3D rendering has been greatly improved and you can play expansive open-world online games, console games and even some AAA titles.

8K Decoding & Encoding

Edge2 supports 8K, 60fps H.265/VP9 video decoding and 8K, 30fps H.265/H.264 video encoding. In addition, up to 32-channels of 1080P, 30fps decoding or 16-channels of 1080P, 30fps encoding can be done simultaneously.

Powerful video encoding and decoding capabilities enables Edge2 to output beautifully crisp and clear 8K HD resolution. This will greatly expand the potential applications of Edge2 in multi-display environments such as digital signage, entertainment and gaming.

High Speed Wireless

Edge2 uses the Ampak AP6275P Wi-Fi 6 PCIe module, which is capable of high-speed wireless data transmission. This module supports IEEE 802.11 ax/ac/a/b/g/n and 2T2R. This advanced wireless transceiver module makes data transmission stable and fast. Bluetooth 5.0 is supported.

Up to 16GB RAM

The RK3588S supports a large capacity of RAM; up to 16GB! Run multiple applications simultaneously whilst still having a smooth and lag-free experience.
