Will This Work On My Car?
If your vehicle has a factory-installed wired CarPlay unit - Yes! Vehicles with only wireless CarPlay connection are not supported. Such as BMW and Tesla. Issues You May Concern?
1. My vehicle support wireless CarPlay, can I use this Carplay Box?
Please check if your vehicle has such a USB port that supports wired CarPlay for data exchange. if so, you can use this Ai_Box. Important Tip: If your car has both wireless CarPlay and wired CarPlay, and you have successfully connected wireless CarPlay before, please turn on Bluetooth settings on your iPhone, find Bluetooth name of the OEM radio, and select ‘Forget this device’, then wait for the AI Box to boot up, and connect its bluetooth.
2. Why doesn't the hot spot connect automatically when I get in the car?
Please make sure hotspot is on now, iPhone hotspot will automatically turn off when not used for a long time. 2.Please confirm whether the device has been connected to carplay or android auto before connecting to the hotspot. If yes, you need to manually turn on the box wifi setting and ensure that the hotspot of the phone is on, then it will auto connect. We can't play online video software while using carplay or android auto.
3. If I don't have a WiFi hotspot,is there any other way to watch online videos ?
It must be connected to a WiFi hotspot to play online streaming. But you can still play video files by Usb flash drive ,without a hotspot.
4.How to Set the Time?
As long as the device is connected to the network, it will automatically synchronizes with the network time!
5.How to return to the menu from the apple carplay page?
Click the button "Android" or "Exit" or “Google" or your car brand logo.
6. I have an unlimited data plan on my phone, why can't I play videos on Netflix/YouTube smoothly?
As far as we know, some unlimited data plans will stop user from use WiFi hotspots, when some others come with a fixed amount of “unthrottled” data. Once that amount is used up, the carrier slows down your transfer speed to a level that supports email and such, but not video. If you are unable to stream videos on Netflix or YouTube, please check your Hotspots data usage or contact your carrier.
