Red Sandalwood Ayurvedic Soap

A purifying and complexion enhancing ayurvedic face and body soap that treats acne, sunburn, blemishes and signs of aging. Contains pure red sandalwood oil which is prescribed in ayurveda for curing various skin related issues like acne, sunburn, blemishes and premature aging. Red sandalwood is also rich in natural antioxidants that corrects hyper pigmentation and lightens marks, scars and dark spots. This formula also contains a blend of cold pressed extra virgin coconut oil and natural beeswax which lightly nourish the skin keeping it soft, hydrated and protected.

How to Apply

Can be used on both face and body. Wet skin with warm water, gently apply the soap to create a lather and rinse clean. Store in a cool, dry place to avoid quick melting of the soap.

Santalum Album Also known as Indian sandalwood, santalum album has been used in India since ancient times as a skin antiseptic. It has properties and helps in clearing blackheads and spots on the skin. It also used in aromatherapy. Sandalwood essential oil helps moisturise and hydrate dry or flaky skin and relieves itching and inflammation of the skin.	Spiked Ginger Lily/Hedychium Spicatum Spiked ginger lily strengthens scalp and skin as it has many anti-oxidant properties, which help it to stimulate scalp moisture and strengthen hair roots. Its properties also help heal minor infections and inflammation.	Ficus Carica/Common Fig Figs contain many vital minerals and vitamins like vitamin A, vitamin B1 and vitamin B2. They also include variety of antioxidants and omega fatty acids. These are rich in important nutrients like Vitamin B, C, phosphorus, potassium and minerals like calcium and magnesium which are essential for boosting and rejuvenating the skin's health. Figs also contain a high amount of calcium which contributes to the formation of collagen that makes up our hair and scalp.


Cocos Nucifera Oil It helps keep the skin soft and smooth, prevents premature ageing and wrinkling of the skin. It is also known to heal stretch marks. It is mild, thus works well for sensitive skin.	Ricinus Communis Seed Oil Castor seed oil contains undecylenic acid which, is useful for treating skin diseases and skin ulcers. It even fights signs of aging, moisturizes skin, fades blemishes, prevents stretch marks, acne and pigmentation. Castor seed oil is the best rescue to inflamed skin.	Liquorice Liquorice root extracts are used in treating a variety of skin diseases due to its anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti-carcinogenic, and antiviral properties. Licorice as a natural element has mild smoothening and brightening action. Rich in several components, the root has been observed to promote hair and scalp health.	Beeswax is a natural wax produced by honey bees when building their beehives.
