Alfred Kärcher GmbH & Co. KG is internationally renowned for high quality cleaning technology. Alfred Kärcher was one of those inventor entrepreneurs, as Württemberg has produced so many since the beginning of industrialisation. In the early 1930s, Alfred Kärcher specialised in the construction of large immersion radiators, i.e. salt melts heated with immersion heaters. With the development of the first hot water pressure washer, Alfred Karcher finally succeeded in the cleaning technology after the Second World War. In the following decades, the Swabian family business developed into a global group and in the field of cleaning technology. More than 500 patents and utility models and numerous groundbreaking innovations show the Swabian innovation leadership, made in Germany.
