The JJC BTR-S1 Wireless Remote Control is specially designed for select Sony cameras, replaces Sony RMT-P1BT remote commander. It allows you to remote your camera wirelessly with an operating distance of approx. 10m / 32.8' in any direction. The BTR-S1 can be used for shooting still image, recording video, adjusting camera focus, zooming the camera and activating the camera's C1 or AF-ON function. You can disable all the buttons on the remote control in order to prevent unintentional operations while you carry it around by sliding the LOCK switch to the "LOCK" position. The remote is portable and you can put it in your pocket or hang it on your key ring. It is powered by a CR2032 battery.

How to Pair with Your Camera

Use Tip

1. You cannot use the function for linking location information with a smartphone when the [Bluetooth Rmt Ctrl] is set to [On].
2. While [Bluetooth Rmt Ctrl] is set to [On], the camera will not switch to the power-saving mode. Change the setting to [Off] when you are done using the Bluetooth remote commander.
3. If you do not operate the Remote for a few seconds, the Remote will automatically be disconnected from the camera. Even while they are disconnected, you can automatically reconnect the Remote to the camera by pressing any button.
4. The zoom button on the remote only works with for power zoom lenses.
