The JJC RM-VPR1 remote control with Multi-terminal cable for Select Sony camcorders and Cameras is a wired remote commander that allows various remote control operations to be performed without handling the camcorder and camera, therefore eliminating camcorder and camera shake and providing self-portrait and other control applications. When using the this remote with select Sony camcorder and camera, you are able to realize these functions: video start / stop, two-step zooming (Press the zoom button halfway to zoom slowly, and press it down all the way for fast zooms, very fantastic as it makes zooming super smooth while panning), focusing / shooting, bulb lock, continued shooting lock and displaying grid lines.

The working distance for this remote is 1m / 3.28'. Remote comes with a detachable clip allows you to attach this remote to a handy grip on tripod. It can be also mounted to a tripod or other devices via the back 1/4"-20 female thread.
