Kabusecha Green Tea by CHILL TEA Tokyo: Our Kabusecha green loose leaf tea is cultivated at Narao in Shizuka Prefecture, an area rich in clean air and water 650m high above sea level. Kabusecha is considered the tea between Gyokuro and Sencha because of its rich umami flavour. It is made from the tips of leaves from tea bushes that have been sheltered from direct sun. Features: * Cultivated 650m above sea level in Narao, Japan. * Kabusecha offers a sweet glassy aroma and deep umami. * First Flush, Single origin. * Made and Packed in JAPAN. How to Brew Kabuse Cha * Boil fresh water and leave to cool for a minute. (Soft water is recommended) * Infuse for 2 minutes. * Slowly pour tea into tea cups alternately a little at a time until the last drop. * Brew for a slightly shorter (20-30seconds) and use hotter water for the second infusion. * The third infusion, use hotter water and brew shorter (10-15 seconds) than for the second infusion. The CHILL TEA Exclusive and Rare Tea series The CHILL TEA Rare Tea series is a collection of exclusive Japanese green teas. Their story starts high above white clouds in the mighty mountains where our tea shrubs have to develop a strong character in order to survive cold conditions not typical for conventional tea growing. That is why this collection features exceptionally strong and big leaves. Both their taste and size testify to the stoic spirit of the plants - boasting a strong umami accent, sweet aroma, and deep fresh flavour. Japanese farmers come up with elaborate ways to harvest our tea leaves in the cold climate for you to enjoy. Grown and picked up with great care and personal involvement, our Rare Teas are naturally limited in terms of production, making each cup a rare delight. INGREDIENTS 100% Japanese Sencha Green tea DIRECTIONS * Tea leaves : 2-3g * Hot water(50?/122°F ) : 30 ml per cup * Brew Time : 2min * ?Higher temperature makes green tea bitter taste while lower temperature does make it less bitterness and more aroma * ?For JAPANESE green tea, the longer you steep, the more bitter the taste * ?Tea Leaves can be brewed up to 3 times See more

ETHICALLY SOURCED - Grown and picked with great care and personal involvement, our rare green tea is naturally limited in terms of production, yet you will delight in their limitless splendour. LUXURY QUALITY - Premium quality is a matter of responsible attitudes and personal involvement. We proudly evaluated our Kabuse cha to the highest quality standards. DEEP UMAMI NOTES - Because our Kabusecha Japanese tea leaves grow in the shade, they adopt a deep umami flavour due to the inhibition of photosynthesis, meaning less chlorophyll develops. EXCLUSIVE AND RARE TASTE - Our gourmet Kabuse cha loose leaf tea is harvested high above sea level, meaning the shrubs have to develop a strong character to survive the unconditional conditions.
