This Hojicha is perfectly balanced with its smooth smoky aroma and hints of nutty notes. The roasting process removes all of the bitterness and much of the caffeine found in the tea, allowing you to get cosy as you enjoy every sip. This single origin Hojicha tea are grown in Yame mountains and are not blended with any other green tea leaves from different tea plantations. How to Brew Japanese Hojicha Tea leaves : 2-3g per cup Hot water(95 203 F) : 200 ml per cup Infuse for 30 sec. The hotter water bring out more flavour for Hojicha. The longer you brew your tea leaves for, the stronger and more bitter, the cup will be Tea Leaves can be brewed up to 3 times Brew for a slightly shorter (20 sec) and use hotter water for the second infusion.
