Our Dashi is made from 5 carefully selected domestic flavor ingredients. - Dried bonito flakes, - Mackerel,- Shiitake mushroom,- Dried round herring, and - Kelp (a tpe of seaweed).

It was created through consistent efforts to create truly delicious dashi, and features a "golden ratio of umami" by blending ingredients.

However, it is not easy to create a richer flavor by adding more ingredients to the basic combination of these two.

It requires a delicate combination of ingredients with careful consideration of each ingredient's flavor, such as aroma and acidity. After 20 years of research and development as a dashi manufacturer, we have finally found the "golden ratio of umami" and have developed a tea bag type dashi that anyone can use to make delicious dashi easily.

This dashi is seasoned with umami from six kinds of Japanese flavorful ingredients, so it can be used for soups and lightly flavored stews without any adding. Depending on the dish, adding just a little more soy sauce, salt or sake will give it a real Japanese taste.
