A: Yes, a 2 TB or more than 2 TB SSD is useable.

A: Yes, if you have a Type-C to Type-A cable it will work, however the transfer rate will be limited to 5 Gbit/s instead of 10 Gbit/s.

A: This is different from device to device. However, the extrnal HDD will be turned to sleep mode after about 30 sec. when connected to Thoshiba HDD and Schenker Laptops.

Q: Is it possible to use the transfer rate Gen 1 instead of Gen 2 for this Enclosure?

A: Yes, it is possible to only use the Gen 1 transfer rate. However, the speed will be only limited to 5 Gbit/s instead of 10 Gbit/s. This can be simply done by using a Type-C Gen 1 Cable.

Q: Does the connected SSD automatically recognized after a Windows 10 is new started?

A: Yes, it does automatically recognized. However, if the SSD is brand new, it needs to be format before it can be used.
