How to use the temperature setting?

After you place the heater fully in water, wait for about 10 seconds, the led then will display the accurate water temp. Then you can start to set the temp.
Press the set button on the controller over and over, the led digits will go circularly from 63 to 94, when you get the digit you want, stop and wait the led flashing for 3 times, then the setting is done.
After temp setting and during the heating time, the led displays the water temp.
Only show farenheit temp.

When does the heater stop heating and restart heating?

When the water temp reaches to the set temp, it stops heating, at this moment the water temp may go up 1 more farenheit degree if the tank is smaller than 10 gallon.

The tank heater will restart heating when water temp is 1? off the set temp.

Indicator light on the heater: on red means heating, light off means stop heating.


Auto Shut Off When Out of Water When the heater top is out of water, it will stop heating, the led displaying E1, it means you should put the heater fully submerged. It will work normally again when the heater is fully in water again, it has memory function, no need extra setting.	Over Heating Protection When the water temp is higher than 95?, the turtle heater will stop heating and the set button is failure, you can't do any setting on the controller, led displaying HH. In this case, just wait the water temp going down. The small fish tank heater will work normally again when the water temp is lower than 95?.	Use Directions Keep the heater fully submerged in water. Don’t bury the heater under substrates such as gravels or sands. Keep the external temp controller away form water. Don’t take the heater out of water directly when it’s heating. Keep water circulation as far as possible.
