* Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein repairs hair damage: human hair naturally has a high concentration of disulfide bonds, damaged by trauma like sunlight, bleaches, straighteners, and hair dyes. Wheat protein has the ability to connect these broken bonds, effectively repairing damaged hair.

* Hydrates the hair shaft: it has the ability to pass through the hair cuticle and hydrate the hair shaft. It works by locking in moisture, so it would be beneficial to use wheat protein with other hydrators like deep conditioners to maximize the hydration.

* Prevents hair breakage: hair breakage can be caused by several factors, but two of the leading causes are dryness and weakness. Wheat protein combats both of these factors to provide hydration and repair the weakened or broken bonds of the hair. When hair is adequately moisturized and strong, it has more elasticity, allowing it to stretch and endure more trauma without breaking.

* Boosts shine: the effect wheat protein has on hair is not just molecular; it's visible to the naked eye. Wheat proteins provide lubricity to help protect hair from styling damage while giving the hair a glossy, shiny appearance.

* Improves the overall appearance of the hair: in addition to boosting the shine and preventing breakage, wheat protein also helps retain moisture in the hair, giving it a thicker appearance. While wheat protein may not directly impact hair growth, by preventing hair breakage/loss and thickening its appearance, it does promote the overall appearance of more hair.

Formulation Details:

PROTECT CONDITIONER - Artekas Innovation - Recipe 1

Manufacturing Process:

Heat phases A and B separately to 80-85°C/176-185°F
Add phase A to B while stirring with a dissolver disc.
Cool to 30°C while stirring and then add phase C.
Adjust the pH value to about 4 by using phase D.

Heat phase A and phase B seperately up to 85°C/185°F. Add phase A to phase B while stirring.
Homogenize with any Homogenizer at 50-55°C/122-131°F
Ad Phase C at RT
Adjust pH Value with Phase D.

Manufacturing Process:

Add the ALGIN slowly to the water and stir until an homogeneous gel is formed.
Disperse the Calcium sulfate in the propylene glycol and add it to phase A slowly with high agitation.
Once homogeneous, continue with ingredients of phase C; add the Xanthan Gum
Xanthan slowly and with fast agitation. Adjust pH to 4.5-5.0 with phase D.
