Question 1. How do I distinguish between the printable side and the non-printable side
Answer:
- The matte side is the printable side and the smoother side is the non-printable side.
- When you scrape the different sides with your fingernail, the printable side will show obvious scratches.
- We have marked (Printed Side) on the package, please take out the dtf film in the correct direction.
Question 2. Which printer is this suitable for
Answer: Fit with Epson & All Modified Desktop DTF Printers.
Question 3. Which ink do I need
Answer: DTF printing is a coating printing, need to use DTF printer, DTF ink, DTF powder.
Question 4. Can I use a heat press to melt the DTF powder
No, It is difficult to control the temperature with a heat press. Because the temperature of the heat press is too high, the material of the DTF film will be melted in the pattern, and the DTF film will be difficult to tear off. Even if it is torn off, the pattern may not come off completely after transfer.
Question 5. Can this be used with a sawgrass sublimation ink printer
It can be used for sublimation printer and sublimation ink. But it can't be used for white pattern, because sublimation ink doesn't have white ink. Moreover, the DTF hot-melt adhesive powder will not be able to stick to the pattern well, which will cause the pattern to be unstable, scratch-resistant, and cracked.
Question 6. Can I transfer directly without melting the DTF powder
Yes, but you need to make sure that the powder can be spread evenly on the pattern. (If the powder is not spread evenly, it may cause air bubbles in the pattern, which is why the powder needs to be melted in the oven.)
