The results of our independent tensile testing reports, that the Helmet Clip exceeded the requirements for helmet chinstrap retention by 92% and scored 70% higher than the rest of the helmet quick releases tested.
After 597 Pounds of force, the manufacturer's D-rings began to warp and the yellow area indicates a period where the Helmet Clip was still holding after the D-rings started to bend.

Attach your Helmet Clip by weaving the strap in and out of your helmet's D-rings, and then securing the snap. Our test results prove that The Helmet Clip withstood nearly twice the force of the nearest competitor.
The screw that some of the other helmet buckles use is very tiny. When our samples arrived for testing, we took this photo next to a penny to demonstrate how small of a screw was being used to secure the buckle to your helmet.
