HI98319 salinity tester especially for saltwater aquariums. The new digital salinity tester HI98319 has been specially developed for measurements in saltwater aquariums. Salinity is expressed simplifies the salt content in water, so determining salinity in saltwater aquariums is of course particularly important. The tester shows the values in ppt (parts per Thousand), PSU (practical salinity units) or S.G. (specific gravity). The amperometric graphite probe resists oxidation, creating better reproducible readings and is not as susceptible to the polarisation effect as testers using two stainless steel pins.
