How did we get our start?

In 1983, Beth McTavish was in India where she saw a group of yogis practicing and was mesmerized by the stillness of yoga. She returned home and began to practice Iyengar yoga. Six years later, Beth sourced the first materials to make her own yoga props and just like that, Halfmoon was born.

What makes our products unique?

The Halfmoon collection is crafted just outside of Vancouver, BC, and thoughtfully designed for a variety of practices. Our intention today is the same as it was over 30 years ago: To create beautifully designed yoga and meditation goods.

SIZE: 8" x 5" (20.3 cm x 12.7 cm) 100% silk cover sewn in China and 100% cotton cg sewn in India. MOONSTONE: is connected to feminine energy—it’s thought to help enhance intuition, creativity, and emotional balance. FILLED WITH: 1% lavender (France), organic wheat berry (Canada) amd natural gemstones (Brazil). Our fill is naturally cooling, soothes dry eyes and relaxes the mind and body. Heatable/microwaveable for the ultimate relaxation (remove cover while heating). HEAT IN THE MICROWAVE: Remove cover & set aside. Lay the pillow as flat as possible on turntable and heat in 30-second intervals until you reach your desired temperature. Shake pillow between intervals for even heating. Test temperature on the back of the hand or forearm before placing it on the neck or face. Do not overheat.
