How to Use Guar Gum - Food: Guar Gum can be used for cake making, producing gluten free food, bread making, ice-cream making and a gluten free thickener. Cosmetics: Guar Gum is used during the preparation of lotions and creams. Pharmaceuticals: Guar Gum is often used by pharmaceutical companies to help bind tablets. Directions: Bread/Dough: Add 1 teaspoon per cup of flour. Cake/Cookie/Muffins: Add ½ teaspoon per cup of flour. Storage: Re-seal bag and store in a cool dry place away from moisture.
