This is a rare conversion solution that is useful for converting audio/video signals from your favorite HDMI media devices to a DisplayPort Monitor. Convert HDMI output (on computer, gaming console, streaming device) to a DisplayPort input (on display, monitor). Utilize your DisplayPort only monitor. Cheaper alternative to buying a new one with an HDMI output.

This is not a bi-directional converter. DO NOT use for DisplayPort to HDMI conversion.
