Goat ghee is extremely high in MCTs, Omega 3s, and Vitamins A, D, and K2. Lighter and fluffier to its yak and cow cousins Goat ghee offers the same healthful properties and retains its distinctive tart and earthy notes found in most goat cheeses. Use in hot beverages, smoothies, protein shakes, baked goods, and in place of cooking oil in recipes. A2/A2 refers to the type of beta-casein protein. Most cow milk genetically contains both the A1 + A2 casein proteins, but goat milk is unique in that it only contains A2. A2/A2 milk and ghee made from it, is suggested to have less digestive issues for people sensitive to lactose or dairy. Store in a cool, dry place. Refrigeration is optional.
