We've been supplying nutritional supplements for nearly 40 years, and over the years our company has been at the forefront of nutrition science with some notable firsts, such as the introduction of CoQ10, Pycnogenol, and Ester C into the UK.

But we certainly don't strive to be first just for the sake of it. We firmly believe that there are hugely important 'old school' nutrients such as magnesium, vitamin D, iron and calcium that are still not given the recognition they deserve. So you can keep your collagen and 'horny goat weed' supplements; we're here to talk nutrition!

PRODUCT FRESHNESS

Supplements are like foods when it comes to 'best before' dates and the date on the back of the label is there to show you how much longer you have before the supplement must be consumed. With exposure to moisture, and over time, nutrients often degrade. At Nature's Best the best before date means the product will still contain the nutrient levels given on the label(with a few percent difference permitted each way) on that date, as long as the product has been kept in a cool dry place.

We also use small pots, holding less tablets, where we feel there may be a product that is vulnerable to moisture.

100% UK MADE

It is quite legal for supplements to be made overseas as bulk, then packed in the UK and given a UK or Channel Island address. However, we think consumers have the right to know where their supplements are made. Our pots carry our UK quality mark which means that that the product inside has been genuinely made, not just packed in the UK, in factories working to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

We were the first mail order company to insist on GMP as standard.

QUALITY TO THE CORE

Our formulas are so uniquely ours that we ought to have Nature's Best written through them like a stick of rock! Our tablets are carefully formulated and rigorously tested to ensure they disintegrate between 30 to 60 minutes of swallowing. By using sheer skill and experience our tablet makers ensure that the correct amount, give or take just 10%, goes in every tablet. Wow! We were the first company to insist on film coating for all tablets. It makes them easier and safer to swallow. It adds up to 20% extra cost to us – but we prefer to choke on the cost than have a customer choke on the tablet.
